Athens State Orchestra Brass Workshop (2012-)

For the twelfth consecutive year, top KOA musicians will be leading seminars which brass layers of all levels and ages can attend free of charge. The Brass Workshop is staged with the support of, and in association with, the Philippos Nakas Conservatory. The collaboration between the Athens State Orchestra and the Philippos Nakas Conservatory began in the 2012-2013 academic year with the first cycle of workshops. These led to ensembles being formed and presenting their work at a festive concert at the Athens Concert Hall (June 2013). The Workshop has continued with the same enthusiasm, and the same positive response from the participating musicians, every year since.
