Faidon Miliadis was first introduced to the violin at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki with professors Kostas Vozikis and Irina Dragneva. He continued with his Bachelor studies at the Royal College of Music and later a master course at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, with Adrian Levine and Kati Sebestyén respectively. During his stay in London and Brussels, his primary focus was chamber music, performing in venues and festivals all over Europe (Bozar, Purcell room, Gent opera studio, among others). Meanwhile, he was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. Since 2014 he resides in Athens where his collaborations with artists and ensembles expand within a wide range of movements, from early music to avant-garde. He has been a co-principal violin at the National Opera of Greece and since 2017, a member of Athens State Orchestra. He is a founding member of trio elGreco.
