CLASSICS 4 ALL

Concert within the Parklife events of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre

Classics are beautiful in a way that transcends time and place. And classical music is powerful in a way that opens doors into the hearts of a mass audience, that influences other kinds of art and, on occasions, has even allowed it to be assimilated into popular culture. The Stavros Niarchos Park will flood with classic melodies as extracts from the musical West Side Story, pieces everyone knows from the opera Carmen, and Ravel's Bolero remind us all how integral classical music is to our everyday lives!
